Inventory

This is your inventory. You can store any items, tools, and worlds that you find or create in Neos. You need to be registered to save into inventory.

You can also find common resources and tools here, in the "Neos Essentials" and "Essential Tools".

Commonly used functions of the inventory are:

Selecting an item: single click with the trigger.

Spawning an item: double click with the trigger.

Saving an item to inventory: hold the item using the grip button and click the green plus button. You can hold the item with one hand and click the '+' button with the other, or if the held item doesn't block the laser pointer, click the '+' button with the same hand.

Deleting an item from inventory: select the item, then click the red trash can button.

Equipping an avatar from inventory: select an avatar in your inventory and click the yellow lightning bolt button to equip it. This button will only be visible if you have an avatar selected. The equipped avatar is not set as your default.

Setting an avatar as your default: select an avatar in your inventory and click the pink heart button. This avatar will be auto-equipped when entering new worlds. The heart button is only visible if you have an avatar selected.

Saving an equipped avatar to inventory: click the blue button with an arrow pointing into a box to save your currently equipped avatar to inventory. Avatars which are not equipped can be saved to inventory the same as other items, by holding them and clicking the green '+' button.

Opening a folder: double click with the trigger. Your path within the inventory is shown at the top of the dialog, and you can jump to a folder higher in the hierarchy by clicking the folder name.

Creating a new folder: clicking the green plus button with no item held will create a new folder.

Deleting a folder: select the folder, then click the red trash can.

Creating a folder shortcut: select the folder, then click the email icon. This will spawn a folder item in-world that can be grabbed and be added to a different location in your inventory to create a shortcut. Shortcut folders have a brown background, and deleting one of these will not delete the original folder.

Accessing group inventories: if you are part of any groups, the blue cloud button will let you access group inventories.
