The userspace refers to the space that a user's dash menu and keyboard reside in. It is only accessible to that user and can't be interacted with from the regular world, that the user is in.
In addition to the keyboard and dash, it also contains confirmation popups for things such as host access requests or NCR/KFC transfers.
